The Project

This is an ever-evolving global project. This is organic, exposed, raw, uncensored, global expression.
This is the Global Perspective Project for Photography.

Each week a new topic is presented to the Photographers. The result of their work appears on this page. Each artist has been given total control of their own perception of the subject matter. There are few guidelines, and no explanations of the subject matter. The work you see is each individual's interpretation of the Weekly Assignment.

Feel. Experience. Enjoy.

Week 1: 'Purpose'

Hello!
This is the first post of The Global Perspective Project. The Assignment for the week was 'Purpose'. Once again, no explanation was given to the photographers. What you see below was their own interpretation & artistic expression. Enjoy! Check out the Assignment for next week at the end.

Bree:
"The purpose of a fire hydrant varies with each purpose. To most people, it's to protect one when there is a fire. To my family, its a fountain to our pond in the summer. As of right now, it's purpose is to be knocked on its side, buried in the snow until spring comes."

Michael:
"Purpose--I Don't Want to Get Sued"

Preston:
"Purpose: I felt that this picture represented a loss of 'purpose'. The true purpose has "lost focus" and has become a secondary motivation."
